Seminary

At the recommendation of the Asbury counselor, I plan on taking 9 hours per semester including summers so I should finish in 2 years if all goes according to plan. Semesters are 16 weeks and are equal length.

I am attending Asbury Theological Seminary and I am pursuing a Masters of Arts in Ministry degree. I will be attending class through a hybrid program which allows me to attend on a remote campus in Tampa for a couple days at the beginning of the semester, then do the rest online.

Seminary is the path to becoming a good pastor. Formal training will give me a solid theological foundation and will train me in specific areas where I am currently weak. I want to be prepared to serve God and help people in the best way possible. I want to be faithfully prepared – spiritually, biblically, and practically – so that I can serve the church for all the rest of my years.
